Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 14 ounce can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese, loosely measured (divided)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and liquid squeezed out

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it reaches the correct temperature while you prepare the dip.
  2. Mix the ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, softened cream cheese, drained and squeezed spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, minced garlic, and 3/4 cup of the grated parmesan cheese. Stir or beat until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  3. Prepare the baking dish: Lightly grease a baking dish approximately 8x8 inches or a similarly sized glass pie dish to prevent sticking.
  4. Transfer and top: Spoon the dip mixture into the prepared dish, smoothing out the top. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese evenly over the surface.
  5. Bake the dip: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
  6. Serve warm: Remove from the oven and serve the dip warm with crackers, bread, or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

  • Be sure to fully thaw and squeeze out the spinach to avoid excess water in the dip.
  • Using room temperature cream cheese ensures easier mixing and a smoother dip.
  • You can substitute mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a tangier and lighter option.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for a little spicy kick.
  • The dip can be prepared ahead of time, refrigerated, and then baked when ready to serve.
